CleVR Stitcher Creates Photo Panoramas

CleVR Stitcher Creates Photo Panoramas featuredCleVR is an online photo app for creating panoramas from your photos.

Panoramic photography is known as a wide format photography. An image showing a field of view approximating, or greater than, that of the human eye – about 160° by 75° – may be termed panoramic. This generally means it has an aspect ratio of 2:1 or larger, the image being at least twice as wide as it is high. The resulting images take the form of a wide strip. Some panoramic images have aspect ratios of 4:1 and sometimes 10:1, covering fields of view of up to 360 degrees.

You can use a normal camera to take the photos. It is highly advisable to use a tripod for making the photos that you plan your panorama to be based on.Overlap about 20% of the frame so that the Stitcher can make a better job of combining your images together.

Then drag and drop your images and the CleVR Stitcher will automatically process them to produce a panorame. You can embed your panorama into your blog or share it on Facebook or MySpace or send it by email to friends.

You can add interactive hotspots to your panoramas. Hotspots let viewers click areas in the panorama for more information like notes, photos or video. They can also be used to link panoramas together into a full virtual tour.
