Let me start off by saying I have used dropshots for years .At one time I told everyone about them . You can upload 500 photos and 8 videos for free !
YEAH BEWARE ! If you do not upload more(which at 500 you can not) or pay for the use of this site all your photos will be deleted and there is nothing you can do about it . I would rather have a hard drive crash than this stuff .
If you pay for lifetime photo storage at 99$ they have the right to delete it as well ! Read that fine print and check close on how to contact them thats almost impossible ,too ..
BUYER BEWARE Nothing is Free
Sorry but I am VERY upset that I lost all my photos from them deleteing my account( It is still there just red x with no photo or video but noway to recover my memories )and never was I notified by email for any reason
I agree with Cheryl. I had created about 10 accounts and uploaded about x 3000 photos over 4-5 years. One fine day I realised all the accounts were deleted. all i can say is @#$%^&*
Please read fine prints in terms and conditions lest you become a victim like me
some more $%^&*()_$%^&*() to the dropshots.com
I just tried to sign into my dropshot account which I have had for well over 5 years…all pictures are gone…very sad…some were of my grandmother who has since died…luckily a lot of them I moved to shutterfly but still…no notice was given..doesn’t even have my email on file. I was on there a few months ago and everything was fine. Very sad
Hi,
I think the best to share photos is http://www.isphotobomb.com
Flickr is not bad but you need pay some options and
Isphotobomb its totaly free.
Regards
I also just logged in to Dropshots after a few years to see what I still had on there. All my photos and videos had been deleted and apparantly even my email address. I had reached the limit a few years ago and given up on the site. A real shame- they lost my business!
